Objectives: 1 The SCIO has been formed principally to benefit the community served by Feughside Community Council in Aberdeenshire including postcodes AB31 5HU, AB31 6JS, AB31 6JT, AB31 6LB, AB31 6LD, AB31 6LE, AB31 6LG, AB31 6LH, AB31 6LJ, AB31 6LL, AB31 6LN, AB31 6LP, AB31 6LQ, AB31 6LR, AB31 6LS, AB31 6LT, AB31 6LU, AB31 6NF, AB31 6NH, AB31 6NJ, AB31 6NL, AB31 6NN, AB31 6NP, AB31 6NQ, AB31 6NR, AB31 6NS, AB31 6NT, AB31 6PG, AB31 6PQ, AB31 6PS, AB31 6PT, and AB31 6XF (“the Community”) with the following purposes: (a) The advancement of community development (including the advancement of rural regeneration) principally within the Community. (b) The provision (or advancement of the accessibility) of recreational facilities, and/or the organisation of recreational activities, which shall be available to members of the Community and the public at large, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the Community. (c) The advancement of community development through the provision and maintenance of community gardens, public areas and open spaces in order to promote people’s physical and mental health and participation in community life. (d) The provision of educational opportunities in the Community, increasing awareness of the environment, culture, heritage and/or history, including the improvement of the Community’s knowledge of gardening and environmental protection. But only to the extent that the above purposes are consistent with furthering the achievement of sustainable development.
