Royal Dornoch Foundation (Junior Golf)
Annual Report and Accounts 2024/25
Activities
The Royal Dornoch Foundation (Junior Golf) continued its activities supporting junior golf in 2024/25. This mainly involved establishing routes for requesting donations from the membership of Royal Dornoch Golf Club, both in the UK and the USA. In respect of the latter, we established a relationship with Chapel & York, a US organisation that helps charities, nonprofits, and educational institutions raise funds internationally.
The Trustees agreed a procedure for making funding applications to the Foundation and mechanisms for accepting or rejecting these.
The Trustees asked the golf professionals who act as junior coaches at the club to commission a report on a development pathway for our juniors. This was duly completed and submitted.
It also supported ad hoc requests from our most promising juniors for accommodation and transport to attend high level junior golf competitions.
Donations exceeded expenditure by around £1000 over the year on a turnover of around £4,800, leaving the Foundation with assets of around £9,700 (see accounts).
The accounts were processed within Royal Dornoch Golf Club by , Financial Assistant, who has signed the accounts along with .
