Activities

'It carries out activities or services itself'

'the advancement of public participation in sport','the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended'

The Club was founded in 2019 by Jocky Mclean, the club was established to bring something for the whole community. • We aim to make it a disabled access gym, making us a fully inclusive gym. • We give children/young people and adults a safe environment to keep fit and interact with other people their age. Through our classes it can help them to achieve self-discipline. • We have already achieved working with children and empowering them to train and compete.

Objectives: To advance public participation in boxing and general keep-fit and well-being activities. To provide a facility that allows access for people from the community or communities. To promote the facilities in such a way as to encourage young people and groups to become involved in activities. To work closely with community groups and encourage people from all backgrounds, particularly those coming from socially disadvantaged backgrounds, to participate in activities and community opportunities arising from the facility. To work with multiple partners to enhance the breadth of community activities arising from the facility. To provide a platform for other local clubs and groups to develop their memberships and encourage people to participate in sporting activities.
