Achievements and performance Summary of the main achievements of the charity durlng the financlal period Energy Festival 2023= A Resounding Successl On July 30th and 31st, the North Inch in Perth transformed into a buzzing hub of energy and excitement. Over 4,000 enlhusiaslic allendees flocked lo our free leslival, making il an unforgellable speclaclel The Colour Run.. A Riot of Colours and Emotionsl A slaggwing 780 vibrant runners painted the town in a myriad of hues during our thrilling 2.4km colour run. Th15 event not Only inspired families and friends to embrace lilness bul also allracled visitors from far and wide, boosting local lourisml #pow8rofthebike Zone.. Pedal Power lo the Forel Around 800 cycling enthusiasts immersed themselves in the #powerofthebike zone. This zone, which oelebraled the UCI cycling world championships, saw attendees engage in guided rides and thrllling bike track aclivilies. The highlight? The jaw-dropping Clan bike slunl show that had the crowd on the edge of their seatsl Clash of the Clans.. A Fitness Extsavaganzal 360 elile athletes from Scotland and France ballled il out in the adrenaline-pumping 'clash of the clans, litne5s competition. Their dedicallon and prowess were truly a sight lo beholdl Volunteers.. The Heartbeat ol the Festivall A big shouloul lo our 64 dedicated volunteers, including the Polioe Service Young Volunteers, Army Cadet Force, and the Claymore CrossFil community. Their unwavering commitment and passion infused the feslfval with a unique spirit and purpose. STEM Engagemenl.. Building lor the Fulurel Vwhile STEM aclivilles were limited this year, major players like the Dundee Science Centre, Royal Regiment of Scotland. and the Scollish Maths Council stepped up, captivating allendees with their engaging aclivilies. Walch this space, as STEM will be our spotlight focus in the coming yearl In conclusion, 2024 was a year of vibrant colours, pulsating energy, and unforgellable memories. The reserve equates to 200/0 of predicted costs. The reserve required is likely lo rise and so we wlll estimate 200h of the following years festival cosls a5 an anrEual review. Detalls of any deflcit Our Charity application was signih'can15y delayed and prevented us from fundraising prior to Energy Festival 2023. An application was submilled on our behalf for national funding which prevented us from deciding on how the funds would be used. The deficit that these issue5 caused was resolved by a signiftcanl donation from Ballistic Fitness Ltd. which supports bolh thè Colour Run and Clash of the Clans. This leaves tho aGcounls wllh £348 following this year's feslwal. Donated facllltles and servlces Ilf any} Perth & Kinross Council were SUpp￿tiVe of this year's event providing barrier fencing and gazebos. Dundee Science Centre and the Scottish Maths Council provided STEM support and have created a ne￿Ork of future support lo the event.
