**What the charity does:** We provide a community orchestra on a no-audition basis to allow adults to enjoy community playing. We perform 3 concerts per year at low cost for audiences. We also offer solo opportunities to RCS students.

**Objectives:** 2.1  The objectives of the GSO are to .- Advance musical education through participation in music and the public performance of music. In furtherance of this purpose and objective the GSO will: A  Encourage amateur musicians of all standards to develop their involvement in music and playing skills by organising rehearsals in full orchestra and instrumental sections. B  Arrange coaching in sectional rehearsals where possible. C  Engage in other charitable activities aligned to and corresponding with the aims and objectives of the GSO. 2.2  For charitable purposes members? subscriptions shall be deemed to be donations to the GSO.
