The objectives of the association are to advance and promote or assist in the provision of facilities for the recreation or other leisure time facilities or pursuits, where such provision or assistance in provisions 1) the interest of social welfare and 20 made with the objective of improving conditions of the members of the community.

Objectives: Purposes 4 Organisation's purposes are: (i) To advance education and to provide, or assist, in the provision of recreational facilities, or organise recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended: (ii) To advance citizenship or community development:- 4.a.ii.1 in the interests of Social Welfare. and 4.a.ii.2 with the object of improving the conditions of life of the members of the community of Clermiston and Drumbrae, Edinburgh bounded as follows being the area of benefit: 4.a.ii.3 The area of benefit, for the purposes of this constitution shall be deemed to be the area known as Clermiston and Drumbrae lying North and South between Queensferry Road and St John's Road. And east and west between Clermiston Road and Maybury Road and to include the area known as Strathalmond and Cammo bounded by the A90 to the North, the River Almond to the West and Cammo Gardens, Cammo Bank and Cammo Grove on the South Side and also including Cammo Road and Lennymuir. And for those purposes to work with the City of Edinburgh Council and any successor organisations (hereinafter referred to as 'the Council'), voluntary organisations and inhabitants in the area of benefit. (iii) To co-operate with the Council in establishing, maintaining and managing a youth and community centre situated in the area of benefit (to be known as The 'Munro Community Centre') which may be grant aided by the Council insofar as it is established, maintained and managed for the attainment of clauses 1.1 and 4.2 above.
