The purpose of the organisation is to provide recreational facilities and advance the social needs, health and well-being of men of all ages and backgrounds living in Lossiemouth and district. We have attracted members ranging from in their 20’s to in their 80’s. We have created and continue to develop Lossiemouth Men’s Shed by providing opportunities for men in the Lossiemouth area to meet and undertake creative, physical, purposeful, and recreational activities of their choice Reducing isolation of men in the area has been one of the key objectives of our charity, thus contributing to their physical and mental wellbeing. This is one of the most rewarding parts of our group. Activities offered to the group include opportunities to make links with a wide variety of local organisations including schools and nurseries, shops, community groups and other charities where we have undertaken woodworking projects, education and intergenerational work.
