| Corstorphine Dynamo FC advances community development and citizenship by providing inclusive, positive environments that promote teamwork, respect and volunteering within the local community. The club encourages public participation in sport by delivering regular, affordable football coaching, training and playing opportunities for people of all ages and abilities, supporting physical activity, wellbeing and social inclusion. The club also provides recreational facilities for community benefit through the operation of the Dynamo Hub, which supports a range of recreational and social activities. The Hub has been used by a local playgroup and dance school and is available for hire at a modest fee to cover costs, including bookings for children’s birthday parties and community events. These activities contribute to improved wellbeing and quality of life for participants and their families. |

Achievements and performance
| Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the financial period |
Over the past year, Corstorphine Dynamo FC has continued to grow and broaden its impact within the local community. The club increased overall playing membership by 54%, with numbers peaking at 552 players, reflecting strong demand for accessible football opportunities. The women’s and girls’ pathway was strengthened through the launch of a new women’s team, with girls’ teams beginning to play regular matches for the first time. Participation opportunities were expanded further through the introduction of a new 2018 age group and the launch of DynoTots, providing structured football-based activity for children aged 18 months to 4 years and supporting early engagement in physical activity. The club also hosted a football festival attracting teams from across Scotland, promoting community connection and public participation in sport. Investment in quality and sustainability remained a priority, with 30 coaches progressing to the next level of their coaching education, improving the standard and safety of provision. The club continued to support inclusion and community development by discreetly assisting a small number of players experiencing financial hardship, ensuring that cost was not a barrier to participation. In addition, Corstorphine Dynamo FC began supporting Active Schools Edinburgh by delivering free, structured coaching sessions at Maybury Primary School, widening access to sport for local children. |
