**Purposes:** 'the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended','the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage'

**What the charity does:** We are set up to provide a connection with older people in the rural communities in Deeside. We do this through twice-weekly social spaces, activities, and events. We also deliver 350 Christmas Cheer care packages each year to our most vulnerable older people. Our members are often rurally isolated, caring for others, with long-term illnesses or bereaved, and we make them feel part of the community and grow their self-confidence through informal social prescribing.

**Objectives:** Purposes 4     The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 Provide activities and events for older, vulnerable people over the age of 50 in the rural communities of Aboyne Ballater and Braemar and their surrounding villages.  4.2. To connect older people over the age of 50, with each other through the three themes of active lifestyle, creative activity and learning. 4.3 For the most vulnerable aged 50 and over, we will provide where possible doorstep deliveries and contact.
