**What the charity does:** Facilitate the local community in taking sustainable environmental action. promoting well-being, local community, local food and local regeneration. and mitigating climate change factors. We do this by facilitating semi-autonomous Action Groups that self-organise to achieve their aims. Currently these groups include a 3.5 ha community orchard with allotments, a group offering free E-bike trials,, a group bringing food producers and consumers together, a group developing local safe active travel routes, and an outreach group that facilitates community events.

**Objectives:** PURPOSES 4. The Organisation has been formed for the public benefit of the residents of postcode TD6 and the neighbouring areas within the Scottish Borders (the &#x27;Community&#x27;), using sustainable development principles. The Organisation&#x27;s Purposes are to:  1. protect, conserve, and improve the environment 2. promote developments that are sustainable  3. utilise and develop the collective abilities of the local community to:      a. promote: - health and well-being. local food production. and both urban and rural regeneration      b. build a more resilient, stronger community      c. reduce carbon emissions      d. facilitate a circular sustainable economy      e. advance nature-centred and people-centred land use 4. to promote understanding of the consequences of inaction re. clause 4.3
