each other by exchangin8 plants, seeds and advice.
Three of the allotment spaces are utilised by other charitable bodles: Caberfeidh Horlzons

opportunities for gardenin8 and 8rowin8 to a wide range of indrvidua15 in the community.

Achlevernents and perforniance
The allotments have now been in existence for 10 years. and continue to be a popular community
asset.
The growing season in the area is always Short and the weather often throws cuNeballs at us, but all
plot holders cope with this & Invariabty produce crops of good quantity & quality. The current year
was particularly poor as the weather was almost invariably cold & wet, thus most crops either failed
or were poor.
In worklng toward the achlevement of the aim5 of the Association. It is encouragin8 to note that
there is always a waitin8 list for allotments and any vacancies a￿ filled quickly. We rare￿¥ find that
we require to advertise vacancie5.
In the past year 2 Allotments have changed hands. Some individuals find they do not have enough
time to cultivate their plot, some give up due to a8e or health related issues.
In the past year, there have been no requirements for repairs to the communal area5. although it
was discussed that at some point the wood surrounds of the plots would need replacing.
