**What the charity does:** Th charity was set up principally to support and encourage integration into the local community by asylum seekers and refugees and to alleviate poverty among the group. We do this by: - facilitating a weekly lunch held at Friendship House - collection and distribution of food bags from the Drumchapel Food Bank - distribution of donated clothing & household items - organising workshops and events

**Objectives:** a)The prevention of relief from poverty by the provision of a food bank and clothing donations in which in return those supported will donate and volunteer in the community when they are able to do so. b)The advancement of education by the provision of English speaking for other languages (ESOL) classes to learn English which will help settling in the area and help them become part of the wider community and other courses which will help with employability skills and general wellbeing and safety within their own homes. By also working with Thriving Places, Glasgow Clyde College and other partners to support people into work and further education. c)The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage by challenging loneliness and isolation through the procession of weekly meetings with the asylum seekers and refugees from around the world and allow friendships and supportive relationships to grow
