expanded upon the aclivitses of The Perth Indigent Old Men's Sctiety instituted in Perth on 25th January
1830 and instrumentsl in the alleviabng of poverty in Perth unts'l the Society Wan operating on 28
September 2023
The Perth Indigent Old Men's SOc￿ty has donated all ts Assets lo the Society and the Society h
undertaken responsibility lor any Liabilities.
The Society is 8dministered in accordance with the teTm5 of the Constrtutson and RLtles adopted
March 2023

The objectives of the Society are to provNde benefits of such kind and at such times as the Twslqes ol the
s￿Iety may deterrnine for the assistance or benefft of deserving families and individual$ residgnt within
the district of Perth.
There are 2 beneficiary groups.. 1) those on a roll taken over from the Perth Indigent Old Men,
and 21 individual$ and famil￿ in special need regardless of age or gender.

Dunng the perDJ energy grants were paid lo 26 beneficianes on the roll paid in December 2023 •nd
2024. There were 47 referrals for specwl assistanc8, of wttich 44 resulted in awards being made,13 were
referred lo other agencies for statutory benefits checks, and some resulted in hands-on help for Wrious
probl¢ms The SoC￿ty has worked closely with Perth CAB from whom the bulk of referrals have tome.
The Scciety will continue to work with the CAB but approaches have also been made to other ag
