## **Trustees’ report for the year ended 31 December 2025**
The trustees present their annual report and financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2025. The trustees who served during the year and up to the date of this report are set out on page 1.
In submitting their report and the financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2025, the trustees have adopted the provisions of The Charities Act 2011 in preparing the Annual Report and financial statements of the charity.
## **Structure, governance and management**
Kingdom Ministries UK is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) governed by constitution. The trustees of Kingdom Ministries will be first nominated according to the nominating committee of the Free Methodist Church UK & Ireland, second approved following a vote by the members of the Free Methodist Church UK & Ireland Annual Conference and finally appointed by a resolution passed by the trustees of Kingdom Ministries. Trustees will serve for a term of 4 years with a review after 6 and 18 months.
## **Objectives and activities**
The charity’s objective is the advancement of the Christian faith in the UK for the public benefit, mainly, but not exclusively, by means of supporting the establishment of new church groups, and providing administration, professional and technical support, and guidance to new and established church groups, and other ministries, in particular, but without limitation, those connected with the Free Methodist Church UK.
Our missionary focus is the whole of the United Kingdom. The focus continues in our connection and involvement with the ministry of the Free Methodist Church internationally.
Kingdom Ministries UK’s main purpose is equipping, empowering and encouraging church planting. As the Free Methodist Church UK & Ireland seeks to support the vision of 100 churches and more by 2034, Kingdom Ministries exists primarily for the purpose of enabling the establishment of new churches within the Free Methodist Church UK & Ireland. Once this vision has been fulfilled Kingdom Ministries will continue to work to enable the establishment of further churches.
As a secondary purpose, Kingdom Ministries looks to enable significant local church vision for fruitful multiplication and the breaking of new ground within the Free Methodist Church UK & Ireland.
## **Public benefit statement**
The charity complies with the public benefit requirement through its charitable objectives.
The trustees confirm that they have referred to the guidance contained in the Charity Commission’s general guidance on public benefit when reviewing the charity’s aims and objectives and in planning future activities.
## **Achievements and performance**
During 2025 the trustees met seven times. Across these meetings, the trustees focused primarily on supporting and monitoring FM church plants, including reviews of Market Drayton, Story Church, York Church, Heart Church, the Iranian churches, and emerging plants in Scotland, Nottingham, Ireland, and Bath. The main focuses involved grant approvals, governance development, safeguarding oversight, affiliation pathways, and responding to challenges such as the closure of Gateway and Stockport. They also worked on strengthening KM guidance for church plants, including mentoring, governance guidance, the “Person of Peace” framework, reviewing safeguarding compliance across plants. Most recently they have been looking at extending oversight and exploring the practicalities of supporting new FM plants in Ireland. Overall, the trustees dedicated the year to ensuring robust oversight, pastoral support, financial stewardship and sustainable growth across the FM church planting network.

## **Financial review**
Total unrestricted fund receipts were £1,000 (2024: £2,000), total Project Scotland fund receipts were £Nil (2024: £31,377), total York Church fund receipts were £23,325 (2024: £121,928) and total Freedom Church fund receipts were £82,318 (2024: £21,450).
## _**Reserves policy**_
It is the policy of Kingdom Ministries UK to maintain a balance of unrestricted funds when available to meet unforeseen situations.
Reserves may be held in a separate deposit account to enable the charity to benefit from accrued interest.
Total reserves held amount to £80,290 (2024: £104,860) of which £79,751 (2024: £103,912) are restricted funds.

## **Independent Examiner’s Report to the Trustees of Kingdom Builders UK**
I report on the accounts of the charity for the period ended 31 December 2025, which are set out on page 5.
## **Responsibilities and basis of report**
As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the charity’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
## **Independent examiner’s statement**
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
- the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or
- the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or
- the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
