Achievements and performance

Summary of the main achievements of
the charity during the financial period
Members and Development:

- Club Membership has increased again from last year and now stands at 55 comprising 40
senior members and 15 junior members.
- In addition, we continue to offer complimentary membership to coaches and volunteers.
- We have supported junior development throughout the year and we have entered 2 teams in
the West of Scotland Junior Table Tennis League..
- Both of our West of Scotland Senior Table Tennis League Division 3 teams achieved
promotion to Division 2 at the end of the 2024/25 season and, in addition, our A team won the
Division 3 Cup.
- We have also been able to increase our participation in the West Of Scotland Senior Table
Tennis League for season 2025/26 to 4 teams (2 in Division 2, 1 in Division 4 and 1 in Division
5). This is supported by a squad of 18 players, including 2 Junior members.
- Well done to all our teams and a particular thanks to our Team Captains - Pawel, Euan,
Tommy and Gordon who go above and beyond preparing their teams every week.
Public Participation:
- Our Pop In & Play venue continued its success through 2025. By the end of 2025, our total
visitor number increased to 13,080.
- As a result of the delay in moving to an alternate venue in EK Shopping Centre, we had our
last session in the centre on 19th December 2025. In the interim, and until we secure a new
venue there, we made a decision to offer the service from the Alistair McCoist Complex
between 12 noon and 2pm, Monday to Friday which allows our volunteers and our regular
customers the opportunity to continue to play on a regular basis.
- We continue to support several community groups with specific sessions via Pop In & Play.
Volunteers:
- Volunteers continue to be a key aspect of both our Pop In & Play and club nights. During the
year we have been able to retain a pool of around 25 that regularly support our activities.
Coaches:
- Our coaching team has stabilised during the year and we are fortunate in getting regular
support from them on Friday Club nights.
- We are in the process of re-establishing our Coaches Forum and an increasingly structured
and targeted approach to our coaching plans which will be a key step forward for us. Many
thanks to Peter and Chris for their support and efforts in this regard.

APPENDIX 1

Other optional information

The AGM for the charity took place on 23rd February 2026.

For 2026, our main aim is to re-establish our Pop In & Play service in a new unit within EK Shopping Centre (likely in April 2026). Whilst as a club, we strive to sustain and build on our strong membership, coaching & financial base during the coming year.

Our strong financial position also allows us the opportunity to undertake a future strategic investment plan during the year.

Thanks to all our sponsors, donors, members, volunteers and supporters - we can’t do it without you!
