Introduction
Annual Trustees Report for: Cadham Neighbourhood Centre $C052162
From 01/04/2024 — 31/3/2025.
The Cadham Neighbourhood Centre is administered within the terms of the Constitution.
Activities
The Centre continues to operate well with a variety of groups using the Centre Monday — Sunday.
User groups include: Senior fitness class, Taekwondo, Kids cheer and tumble, Kids indoor football,
Adult and kids Zumba, Line dancing, Kids arts and crafts, Adult knit and natter, Dementia groups, Fife Council and Social Work use rooms for meetings, various adhoc activities i.e. Kids birthday parties.
A Christmas Fair was successfully run to help raise funds for the Centre.
Cafe
The café continues to be a popular venue for local residents and visitors to the area. The Café is open from 9am — 2pm. In March 2025 we carried out a survey for the users opinions regarding food options and other services such as a payment card machine.
Property
The premises belong to Fife Council therefore we are limited as to what can be altered or repaired within the building.
Fife Council have changed their tactic regarding pushing a long term lease for the building, this decisions seems to have taken place due to many other Fife Council community run halls rejecting the proposal.
As Trustees we continue to report any repairs or upgrading required to Fife Council’s Cluster Supervisor.

The kitchen received a refurbish in July 2024: funding received from Fife Council, £15.000 was granted via the Ward Councillors Covid recovery scheme.
Finance
The new Charity formally took over all finance and assets of Charity number SCO33855 on the 1* July 2024.
The monies transferred on that date was: £65,228.76. Cash in hand as at 31% March 2025 was £42,812.38.
However due to deiays and problems with the Bank of Scotland the charity operated from the original account of charity number $CO33855 until 31‘t December 2024.
The charity has been operating from its own Virgin Money account since 3rd January 2025
Staffing
The Centre employs 3 staff which is funded by the income from the café and hall users.
One member of staff is full time responsible for running the café, opening the centre and cleaning duties working Monday — Friday, one staff member works part time helping in the café and opening up and cleaning in the evenings Monday — Friday, one staff works Saturday/Sunday opening up for service users and cleaning.
All staff are paid at least National minimum rate.

Trustees
The charity is run by eight trustees. A Chair person, Treasurer, Secretary and five other volunteers. One volunteer resigned over the past few months due personal reasons.
