**What the charity does:** Strange Field SCIO is a community arts organisation based in Glasgow's East End, operating two cultural venues - The Pipe Factory in Calton and French Street in Dalmarnock. We are set up to provide space, facilities, and support for contemporary art practice and creative learning, for the benefit of our local and creative communities (G31 & G40). We do this by running artist studios, exhibitions, community programmes and events, across our venues. We prioritise diverse voices, working with people of all ages. Our vision is for accessible, community-owned creative platforms to be embedded in Glasgow's East End at grassroots level. We are a queer and neurodiverse led organisation, and our lived experience directly shapes the caring, horizontal ways we work - from fair pay to inclusive programming- ensuring our communities' conditions of life, wellbeing, and opportunities are improved through access to arts and culture.

**Objectives:** The SCIOs purposes are: 4.1 The advancement of the arts through the promotion of creative practices in Glasgow through programming, commissioning, and research. 4.2 The advancement of education through an educational programme targeted at local residents and Glasgow?s creative community. 4.3 The advancement of community development through: 4.3.1 the provision of affordable and/or subsidised space for community activities. 4.3.1 a programme of activities for local residents. primarily through the design and/or delivery of a range of initiatives, activities, and events, including, but not limited to creative performances, lectures, workshops, and exhibitions which further one or more of the above purposes.
