Type of governing document Latheron Hall Committee SCIO (formerly Latheron Hall Committee) was recognised as a Scottish Charity with effect from 11 November 2022. The Latheron Hall Committee SCIO is administered in accordance with the terms of the Latheron Hall Committee SCIO Constitution.
Trustee recruitment and appointment The Trustees were those appointed at the Annual General Meeting. Appointment and removals are in accordance with the Latheron Hall Committee SCIO Constitution.
Objectives and activities
Charitable purposes The organisations purposes are the provision of recreational facilities, of the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons from whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended.
Summary of the main activities Christmas, Easter and Summer Markets showing local produce and crafts. in relation to these objects Table-top Sales, Craft Classes, Martial Arts, Badminton, Exercise Classes, SWI meetings, Theatre events, Birthday Parties, Weddings and Receptions, Funeral Services, Meetings, Training Sessions, Personal lets to member of the community.

|the|charity|during|the|financial|period|Craft|Fayre which was|fully|booked|with|tables.|The|Fayre was|well|
|attended|by|members|of the|community|and|further|afield.|A|local|
|photographer|had|published|a|book|of|local|scenes which was|launched|at|
|the|Fayre.|
|The|Easter|Craft|Fayre|was|also|fully|booked|and|well|attended|along|with|
|a|Table-top|Sale we|held|in|April.|
|In|June we|hosted a|film company|in|the|hall|for over|a week.|They|used|
|the|hall|as|a|base|while|they|went|out|filming|on|location.|The|film|
|company|said|it was|ideally|suited|for|all|their|equipment|and|staff.|
|Since|extending|the|committee|room|we|have|been|able|to|hold|larger|
|group|meetings.|Several|businesses|and|organisations|now|regularly|use|
|the|room|which|has|increased|the|number|of|bookings.|
|We|regularly|have|children’s|birthday|parties,|family|get-togethers|and|
|funeral|services|held|in|the|hall.|
|Since|the|completion|of the|kitchen|with|a|new|range|cooker|and|
|dishwasher we|have|been|able|to|cater|for|larger|functions.|
|We|have|been|approached|by|a|Fibre|Broadband|company|who|plan|to|
|install|broadband|at|the|hall|once|the|infrastructure|has|been|put|in|place.|
|This|will|enable|all|user|to|have|internet|access|in|meetings|as|at|present|
|there|is|no|internet|signal|at|the|hall.|
|The|Hall|Committee|will|continue|to|provide|a|well-equipped|and|modern|
|facility|for|both|the|local|and|wider|community.|

Respective The charity’s trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance
