The charity is set up to meet its charitable purposes above. It does this with regular meetings and the employment of 3 caretakers for the island. We are currently working on the island infrastructure which will enable us to achive our objects.

Objectives: The company's objects is: To meet its charitable purpose equally (1) To take all appropriate measures to conserve the natural heritage (being the flora and fauna, the geological, physiographical and archaeological features, and the natural beauty and amenity) of the Isle of Little Cumbrae for the benefit of the community of North Ayrshire and the public at large and to promote public access thereto insofar as this is not detrimental to such conservation. (2) To promote sustainable development on the island including agriculture, silviculture, horticulture and other economic activities compatible with object (1) above (3) The provision of creating a place/space for public participation within recreational facilities for physical and mental wellbeing and promoting good health (4) To raise awareness and to advance education of Little Cumbrae island
