Structure, governance and management
Type of governing document The charity has a Constitution, in line with requirements for an
SCIO.

Trustee recruitment and appointment The current trustees advertise for new trustees using community social media and at events taking place at the Hall. Each person putting themselves forward is assessed by all trustees at the bi-monthly meetings. External organisations are currently not allowed to appoint Charity trustees.

Objectives and activities

Charitable purposes By providing, managing and promoting a village hall for the benefit of the inhabitants of Logiealmond and Glenalmond, Perthshire (comprising Chapelhill, Logiealmond, Glenalmond, Buchanty and environs), also of members of the public generally, to: =provide recreational facilities, or for the organisation of recreational facilities; [=promote— the arts, heritage, culture, and science; Summary of the main activities in relation to these objects - Recreation facilities = the hall is used by the primary school for PE every week.
