ReporÉ ts) the Ihstee& of Strntbur Comjnunlty Men's Shed SC051984
I report on the accounts of the charity for the year 1° Febnwy 2024 to 31° January ?025, ￿,hICh are
8¢t out on pages I to 4.
Respeelive respoDslbilities of trnstees and examiner
The clwity's t￿￿teeS are responsible for the preporation of the accounts in accordance with the
terms of the Charities and Tn￿1¢¢ Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 and the Charities Accounts
(Scotland) Regutations 2006.
'I'he Charity trwstceg consider that the audit requirement of ReguiatTon l O(1 ) (d) of the .4ccounts
Regulations does not apply. It is my ￿SponSibl]Ity to cxamine the accounts as required under
section 44(1) (c) of the Act and to state whether particujar matters have come to rny attention.
Basis of indepcDd¢nt examiner's Statement
An eKqtni￿ti0n is carrAed out in accordance with Kegulation 11 of the Charities Accounts
(Scotl8nd) Re¥ulationg 2006. An examination inLludes a revlew of the accounting re£ords kept by
the chaTity and a cornparison of the accounts presented with those records. It a]50 includes
¢onsideration of ally unusual iteD)s or dtsclosures in the accounts, and seeks explanations froni the
tnLsiees concerning any SUGh matters. The procedures undertaken do not proTride all the evidcnce
that would FE requiTed in an audi¢ and consequently I do not express an audil opinion on the view
given by the accounts.
Independent exantiuer's statsment
tn the course of My examinatio￿ no mAtter has come to my attention.
which gives me reasonable cause TO I￿lIeVe that in any material reswt the requIrem￿t8..
to keep accounting records in accnrdance with S￿tIOn 44 (1)(a) of the 2005 Act and
Regulation 4 of the 2006 Accounts Regulations, and
to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and comply with Regu]ation 9
of the 2006 Accounts Regulations have not been met: or
? to Nvhich, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper
understanding of the accounts to be reached.
