MAC-CAN facilitates, supports and collaborates with individuals and groups engaged in positive climate and environmental action within the DG8 postcode area. All our work is led and undertaken by volunteers using our own resources wherever possible and aiming to be as non-reliant on funding as possible. In the 2024-25 reporting period our trustees and supporters had opportunities to participate in: plant and produce swaps, sustainable growing in a range of settings, links with Kenyan farmers, clothes swaps, beach cleans and litter picks, reycling and upcycling, improving biodiversity and climate conversations.
