**Purposes:** 'the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended'

**What the charity does:** To provide facilities for the local Community to hold events in the Hall. Current users include - Local Brownies, Local Badminton club, Dance Classes, Church Lunches and Community Council Meetings, all on a regular basisi

**Objectives:** To promote the well-being of the Community living in Connel and surrounding area (as defined by the Connel Community Council Boundary)by associating with local authorities, voluntary organisations and residents in a common effort to: promote social activities, to foster a community spirit, to advance education, to provide a meeting place and to provide facilities for physical and mental training and recreation and social moral and intellectual development and to achieve such other aims as may be determined by the Board from time to time.  To promote the use of the Hall  by all regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, physical or mental disability, religious belief or any other form of differentiation.  To maintain and manage Connel Village Hall for activities promoted by the Board and its members, all in furtherance of the above objects and to carry out any alteration or extension to the Hall premises or facilities provided which at any time may be necessary or desirable.
