Covid and all it's associated issues had a particularly detrimental effect of young people contributing to 18-35yr olds now having the fastest increase in mental health issues with a number of young people feeling that the 'ladder of life' had been kicked out from under them. The Charity was set up to help get that ladder back up and to give those young people the self-esteem and confidence needed to get into or back into sustainable livelihoods. We have been doing this using sail training as the vehicle to help those applying achieve a sailing qualification and also to help them rebuild their self-esteem and regain their confidence. We have had 79 young people successfully go through our course.
Beneficiaries: 'Children or young people','Other defined groups'
