The church will seek to be a Christian Community in the city centre seeking to make Christ known through worship, prayer, fellowship, witness and service acting as appropriate together with and including the support of any individuals, agencies and other charitable bodies involved in Christian missionary work and other activities consistent with the achievement of the purposes.

Objectives: 3 The Purposes are: 3.1 The advancement of religion, specifically the Christian faith, primarily in Aberdeen and also throughout Scotland and the rest of the world by all means consistent with the Christian Bible. In doing so the church subscribes to the Baptist Union of Scotland Declaration of Principle as attached at Appendix 1 and the principles set out in the original constitution of the church founders in Appendix 2. 3.2 The prevention or relief of poverty and other social needs. 3.3 The promotion of religious or racial harmony. 3.4 The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage.
