TD9 RADIO SCIO 

## TRUSTEES ANNUAL REPORT AND ACCOUNTS 

D9 Radio SCIO is a charitable organisation set up to provide a community radio station for those living in Hawick and the surrounding area. 

The trustees and radio show presenters are volunteers and designated as Friends of TD9 Radio and each pay a regular monthly subscription to help fund the varying broadcasts which feature local news and community event information alongside music shows. 

in addition to subscription income, funding is derived from local advertising, sponsorship and donations. 

There is a full music programme alongside local live rugby broadcasts and local news featured within the output that runs on a 24/7 basis. 

Listener numbers reached almost 43,000 per quarter and we are hopeful of further improvements in future — years. 

## MOTES TO THE ACCOUNTS 

## The accounts are prepared on an accruals basis. 

The income generated from subscriptions, local advertising, sponsorship and donations are offset by radio licence fees, telecoms and voice overs fees required for advertising purposes. 

## ASSETS AND LIABILITIES 

Cash at bank amounted to £2,573 at 31°" July 2025 and there are no other assets or liabilities. 

We are currently subsidised by Live Borders in respect of rent, light, heat and other premises costs as we are based on the first floor of Hawick Public Library. , ; ' 

## PROFIT AND LOSS ACCOUNT 

Our membership base of Presenters has increased our subscription revenue to £1,500. 

Donations of £1,835 bolstered our revenue this year alongside steady advertising revenue of £1,289
