Generation Hop8 SCIO, SC051858, is governed by The Conslilullon of
Generatlon Hope. The structure of the organisalion consists of the
BOARD - who hold regular meotings and generally control the acllvitles
of the organisalion. The day-to-day work of Genoralion Hope is carried
out by volunteers. There awe currently no employees of Generation
Hope.
Trustee re¢rulimont and appointment
The Board appoints charity Iiuslees. The maximum number of Iruslees
is 11. The minimum number of trustees is 3. The Board may appoint
any person lo be a charity trustees by way of a iesolulion passed by
malorily vole al a boaid meeting. One third of tTUStees shall retire al the
AGM and be eligible for f&•appoinlm6nl at the next board meetlng.

Summary of the maln a¢tlvltlos
in rèlatlon to these oblects
The main events hijsled by Gen8ralion Hope are our annual summer
camp style retreats in Perthshire, allended by 200 leenageTs across 2
Camps this year. Young people allended in school groups accompanied
by their teachers, or a youth group accompanied by youth leaders. The
camps were run by a large team of safely recruited volunleeTS. In
addition lo the camps, our volunteer team undeflook visits lo each of the
allending schools, led a residentlal retreat foT the youth gfOUP and
expanded our soclal media content to encourage the young people in
their faith journey.

Summary of the maln a¢hlgvements
of tho charity during the flnan¢lal
porlod
Building on our experience from our first summer camp slyle retreat in
June 2023. w8 ran two successful summer camp style rètreats for young
people aged 12-15years old in P8rthshire, expanding our reach by
Increasing the numbers of schcM)Is reprosented al a Gen Hope Camp.
We developed the conlenl of these camps, addlng exlra features such
as sessions for teachers and creatlng leadershlp and development
opportunilles for returning campers under the banner of the 'Gen Hope
Crew,. Feedback from the young people attending a Gen Hope camp
was overwhelmingly positive, with most saying thèy would like to allond
further camps. Teachers reported very positive impact on their pupils.
We carried oul school visits to many of the schools, delivering fun and
failh-based sessions to the puplls. Feedback from the school visits wag
always encouraging with puplls engaged and looking forward to more
Gen Hope opportunities, and teachers reporting on improved behavlours
and increased self-esleem amongst the young people who had attended
Gen Hope camp. Otsr volunteers helped lead a relreal for young people
who allended Gen Hope c8mp as part of a Youth Group. We accepted
Invilallons to promote the work of Generatlon Hope through speaking
opportunities and inteNI&ws.
Flnanclal review
8rlef $iatement of the charlty's pollcy
on resgrves
With no standing costs. and a very small turnover, we do not yel have
any reserye8 policy. It would be our intention lo develop one to gulde us
as Sf and when our Income and expenditure grow.
Dotalls of any doficlt
Deficit of £1.877.00. This deficit rose due to gn unexpected group
cancellation and some groups not filling their chalets to capacity. Going
j fo￿ard, every effort will be made to ensure capaclly bookings at future
camps, wllh deposits lo secure bookings being requested earlier in th6
year. We will endeavour to taise awareness of our work and encouiag6
donations.
