## Activities

**Activities:** 'It carries out activities or services itself'

**Purposes:** 'the prevention or relief of poverty','the advancement of environmental protection or improvement','the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage'

**What the charity does:** Coach My Sport is established to improve the lives of children and families experiencing financial hardship through access to sport, physical activity, and essential sports clothing and equipment. We promote environmental sustainability through the repair, reuse, recycling, and redistribution of donated sportswear and equipment, reducing waste and encouraging sustainable participation in sport. Our core delivery focuses on providing free or low-cost multi-sport sessions for children aged 3–7, prioritising communities identified through the SIMD Deprivation Map of Stirling. Sessions are designed to develop fundamental movement skills, physical literacy, confidence, and lifelong participation in physical activity rather than early sports specialisation. Our evidence-based programme is developed in partnership with the Motor Skill Learning Academy (Switzerland), with each child receiving a Coach My Sport Passport to track progression and development.

**Objectives:** 3.1 The charitable purposes of the SCIO (“the Charitable Purposes”) are: - 3.1.1 to relieve poverty amongst financially disadvantaged families through the targeted provision of donated sports clothing and equipment. 3.1.2 the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage through assisting in the provision of sports clothing and equipment with the object of improving the conditions of life and allowing access to sporting activity. 3.1.3 the advancement of the environmental protection and improvement for public benefit by, promoting sustainable use of sports clothing and equipment through repair, reuse, reclamation, recycling, use of recycled products and use of surplus and leftover materials and by reducing the carbon emissions linked to production and consumption by encouraging reuse and reduction of consumption.
