The charity is now into its second year as a registered charity and has made excellent
"progress in terms of engaging with the wider community and making connections with
families facing childhood cancer diagnosis. The charity has started to make grants and
fulfil more wishes to families as a result of these connections.
We have expanded our pop up events for fundralslng by way of new event8 our first

funds and expanding our awareness of childhood cancer.
We have been recognised at The Pride of Scotland awards for our achievements as a

efforts helping with Laleb's Trio of Hope belng launched and supporting families.
The charity also received another motloin In Parllament for their recognition at The Pride
of Scotland awards.
We have made newconnections wlthin other hospitals helping spread our support
further and engaging with families in other parts of Scotland.
Grants
The website has provided us some assistance with families able to connect with us
directly to apply for support.
We have also been able to provide support to families via our hospital connections and
also made ourfirst packaged support grants via connections with other charities
working together as a team for bereavement, whereby we provided support of a grantfor
the families attending a wellbeing retreat weekend that was being hosted by another
childhood cancer charity.
This direct support meant that those families attending could be provided with snacks
and drinks via our charity and therefore could attend without the added stress and
financial burden.
The charity has also been able to work with social work support within the hospital
which has enabled them to make connections with us and the families for direct
support ofgrants.
Gifts

Through our relationship with the hospital teams we have been able to provide gifts to
hospital families as and when required r,8lleving some stress from the families at such
difficult times.
This year has saw us expand on this support by being able to provlde gifts of food
vouchers and coffee shop vouchers for families wlthln the d¢gycare, Inpatient ward and
outreach patients.
We also provided support with small gifts in the hospital treasure chests for children on
the ward.
We made new connections with corporate clients whom have enabled us to advance
our support by way of donation of books for children at our Go Gold event in
September.
We have also been able to provide funding days out to familips free of charge via
another new corporate support connection.
December 2024 also saw the charity prc)vide pantomine tickets to 50 families as a result
of continued fundraising from the Kiltwalk events.
The pantomine tickets provided much needed respite and smiles for families going
through a stressful time whilst on active treatment or recovering from treatment.
Support
Through our initial engagement with the hospital teams referrals we have been able to
develop a long-standing relationship with the families by way of an initial grant and then
providing further support by means of a bereavement grant or memorable gift such as a
memory necklace we have furthermore engaged with the family and have offered long
term support.
This has provided comfort to the familie,s duringthe grieving process.
Education
Our website offers much needed information about childhood cancer and is updated
regularly.

We continue our enllagement with the community via our social media pLatformo and
raise awareness via our community events in which we specik about childhood cancer
and its earlier signs and symptoms,
We have made new connections via our corporate support this year and have been able
to educate the wider population via their media channels and visits from them to our
hospitals and event.8.
Research Funding
We have been able to reserve 40 % of yerirly funds to develop our fundraising pot for
Pediatric brain Tumour research.
We continue to speak with medical prof, pssionals within the hospital setting in regards
to future developments and how best to place these funds into research once we have
raised a significant amount to put to use in a research project.
Future Developments
2024 allowed us to start developing as a charity and fulfilling our charitable aims.
We doubled our kiltwalk teams at the Glasgow event allowing more fundraising.
We have expanded our social media connections allowing more support forfamilies in
Scotland.
We managed to make connections via new corporate clients and develop our
fundraising strategy in turn allowing us tD provide bigger grants to families, gifts for
