**What the charity does:** The Buddhist Support Fund promotes and preserves Buddha&#x27;s teachings globally through advancing Buddhism, education, and poverty relief. We support Buddhist communities in developing regions (like building the first Tibetan monastery in Africa), made significant donations to major Buddhist organisations in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia, fund translator training and text publication, provide retreat facilities and free Buddhist education, sponsor students from low-income families, and offer financial assistance to individual practitioners and organisations. Our work spans from supporting 40 monastics in the Democratic Republic of Congo to paying school fees for 34 students in Nepal, helping establish new temples and monastic communities whilst ensuring Buddhist teachings remain accessible to all

**Objectives:** The association&#x27;s objects are:  a) The advancement of Buddhism b) The advancement of education c) The prevention or relief of poverty  In furtherance of these purposes the organisation will support the provision of:  Retreat facilities for Buddhist practitioners Free residential Buddhist education and training Free Buddhist teachings both in person and online Training for Buddhist translators Translation and publication of Buddhist texts Financial support to individual Buddhist practitioners and organisations The establishment of new Buddhist temples and monastic communities Free basic healthcare, education and emergency relief in impoverished areas
