Objectives and activities
Charitable purposes
-
(a) the advancement of animal welfare, especially cat welfare and the wellbeing of cats in need of rescue abroad
-
(b) to provide support to rescuers, institutions and charities in Scotland, the UK, and abroad in the advancement of animal welfare, including rescue, fostering and re-homing, nutrition and vet treatment of rescues, and the humane control of animal over-population such as TNR programmes.
-
Summary of the main activities We are a small Scottish Charity (SC051803), run entirely by volunteers in relation to these objects with no employees who dedicate as much time as their jobs and family allow them to help cats in need from all over the world. We believe every cat deserves a loving home, regardless of where they are in the world. We provide medical care to as many injured, abused, neglected, abandoned or ill cats as we can. We organise fundraisers to provide food to shelters that are really struggling to feed their rescues. We rehome cats to the UK and have a fantastic community where we help wherever the need is greatest.

Achievements and performance
| Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the financial period |
In 2022 we rehomed 61cats across the UK, of which 27 had a disability. 29 of them went to Scotland and the rest went to England and all went to fantastic homes where they now have the life they always deserved. In three occasions, we collaborated with another charity/rescuer to find them homes. We rehomed 3 cats from the UK and fostered another 5. We have developed very strong and trustworthy relationships with several charities both in the UK and abroad, rescuers, pet relocation companies, pet transport companies and veterinary clinics. We have expanded our network to other countries outside the UK and collaborate with other organisations in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Macedonia. Our page has grown and we have increased the number of followers and supporters. |
