'the advancement of education','the advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science'

Our charity is dedicated to providing education in Japanese and cultural learning opportunities for children aged approximately 5 to 15. We aim to support their linguistic development, foster intercultural understanding, and strengthen their connection to Japanese heritage. We do this through weekly classes, structured lessons, and cultural activities that encourage both academic growth and personal confidence. By nurturing bicultural skills, we contribute to the wider community in Scotland and promote meaningful ties with Japan.

Objectives: The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 to advance the education of the pupils at the Scotland Japanese School, in particular but not exclusively, to further their knowledge of Japanese language and culture. and 4.2 to promote Japanese culture amongst local communities in Scotland through undertaking provision of public events, implemented by the members of the organisation.
