**What the charity does:** The charity looks maintains Eaglesfield Public Hall and Eaglesfield Playing Field for the benefit of the residents of the area covered by the community council, i.e. Eaglesfield, Kirtlebridge and the surrounding area.  The facilities are rented out at a reduced rate to local community groups and statutory agencies to provide services e.g. football, badminton, martial arts, health & fitness classes and Government elections.  The trustees organise fundraising events such as quizzes, a curry or burger night and other events such as playing field nature hunts.

**Objectives:** Purposes 4 The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 The provision of recreational facilities and the organisation of recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities are primarily intended.
