In addition to the trustees, membershlp of the committee Is open to the coaching team and club members. Trustees are elected at the annual general meeting which is held in January. There must be a minimum of three and a maximum of twelve trustees. Objectives and activities .. _ Charitable purposes To provide regular opportunities for the FEople of Maryhill and Summerston to play and leam tennis. To strive to provide this free for children on a regular basis and at a low cost for all members. Sumrnary of the maln actlvltles in relation to these objects The charity operates as a communty tennis dub in the area ol Maryhill in Glasgow, serving the communities of Maryhill and Summerston. The club offers coaching to the local community, and is able to do so as part of an agreement wth Glasgow Life who provides access to the neY rpened I tennis courts in Maryhill Park.
Achievements and performance Summary of the maln achievements of the charty This year saw the club being shortlisted for the Tennis Scotland during the financial period Awards 2025 in Ihe "Park Venue of the Yearf category, high1hting our community impact. I Competitive teams We continued to play as a competitive club. adding summer league teams to our roster. The club actively recruited players for its summer leagué téams leading to 4 teams competing in the leagues. Teams show&Y mlxed results wlth strong league participation across both women's and men's 40+ divisions- with many players competing for the club for the 1 st time. Junior Tennis Camps Once again we held both summer. October and Easter camps for our Junior members, all of these were free of charge. For our Easter camp we partnered with Tigers Group - who sponsored th8 camp in Continued Weekly Sessions Throughoul the year club continued to offer sessions. encouraging I people to join social play and coaching opportunities, hlghlighting inclusivlty and consistent activity regardless of weather or experience, Overall, this was a successful year for growih, with strong community engagernent, league participation, and youth development The charity has continued to be supported in the period by the local authority, by a local private tennis club, as well as member fundraising. This is exwted to continue in the next financial year. Our biggest costs continue to be coaching fees,

The charity trustees consider that the audit requirement of Regulation 10{1) (d) of the Accounts Regulations does not apply. It is my responsibility to examine the accounts as required under section 44{1) (c) of the Act and to stat& thether particular matters have come to my attention. Basis of independent My examination is carried out in accordance with Regulation 11 of the Charities Accounts examlnerfs ststement (Scotland) Regulations 2006. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts arKI seeks 8xplanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. Thè procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and. consequently, I do not express an audit opinion on Ihe accounts.
