**What the charity does:** Uig Community Centre Association exists to provide and manage a welcoming, inclusive space for all ages in Uig and the surrounding area. We run the community centre and café, host events and celebrations, support local clubs and activities, and provide facilities for health, wellbeing, and lifelong learning. We’re a volunteer-led organisation aiming to strengthen community life, celebrate local culture, and improve quality of life in this remote rural area.

**Objectives:** 4 The organisation&#x27;s purposes are the provision of recreational facilities or the organisation of recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the community for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended, being within the UCCA locality, with activities including but not restricted to 4.1         the provision of activities that encourage the improvement of physical and mental health. 4.2         the promotion of community development by means of activities and projects that encourage community benefit and involvement. 4.3 In partnership with other agencies and groups, activities that encourage and sustain the advancement of arts, heritage and culture, and the gaelic language, by the provision of a volunteer led museum and heritage centre. 4.4         The provision of classes and clubs for all ages within the facility, in the advancement of education
