SCIO : SC051592 –

Annual Return - 01/03/2024 to 28/02/2025

Trustee Annual Report

The March 2024 to Feb 2025 period has nil financial activity recorded through UUET bank account.

This does not mean however that nothing has been happening, with ongoing work at the Glaisters Bridge Community Woodland Site. UUET has a 20 year lease on the approx. 5 Hectare site, near Corsock, establishing a new community woodland for all to enjoy.

All activity has been funded by Dumfries & Galloway Woodlands (SCIO 052525) as part of their

‘Woodlands Plus’ project. Info: https://dgwoodlands.org.uk/woodlands-plus/. DGW was able to obtain these funds from the nearby Blackcraig Windfarm Community Benefit Fund and the landowner, Foresight Group.

UUET has Public Liability insurance for the site (Ansvar policy number ACY 2437248) – the costs of which are paid by D&G Woodlands.

Activity on the Glaisters Bridge site this year included community events and activities, including tree planting.

Paths have been cut across the site, with plans for seating install (May 2025) and signage establishment.

UUET Trustee Po meet regularly to discuss activity on the site. At this time it is proposed to retain the UUET Bank account in case required in future years. Last activity through the account was March 2023.
