North West Recovery Communities is the umbrella term to describe a range of activities, discussions, groups, drop in sessions, social events, partnerships and developments that take place within the community. Organised, led and delivered by local people in recovery, their families, supporters and a range of staff from local services who work in partnership with the recovery communities networks. We run all of these groups, events & meetings with volunteers and supported by workers from other organisations.

Objectives: 4 The organisation's purposes are: (a) The advancement of health through promotion of recovery using the direct personal experiences of people, families, communities who have been subject to the adverse effects of alcohol and drugs. (b) The relief of the needs of those seeking to recover from addiction (c) The advancement of citizenship or community development (d) To work in partnership with other partners to achieve these purposes
