The or8anisation is a SCIO (Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisationl and the purposes
and administration arran8ements are set out in the constitution. Although the Charity was
8ranted SCIO status on 19, January 2022. the charitable activity had been taking place before
this date through Foundation Scotland.
RecruStment pollcy
At the conclusion of each AGM, any Charity trustees appointed during the period since the
precedinB AGM (but excluding those re-appointed under clause 23 of the constitution during
that period) shall retire from office. The Charity trustees to retire shall be those who have
served the longest.
Charltable purpose
The organisation's purpose is to provide grant support to groups and or8anisations that have
charitable objectives and/or individuals who are deemed to be worthy recipients of funding
being distributed on a purely charitable basis, for one or more of the charitable causes
identified in clause 5 within the seven counties of the Northern Meetin8. The seven counties
are.. Moray. Banffshire, Nairnshire. Inverness-shire, Ross-shire, Caithness and Sutherland

The Charity's main activity is grant givin& and prior to registering as a SCIO this activity was
administered by Foundation Scotland. Since becoming a Charity ISCIOI and setting up its own
bank account with the Bank of Scotland, grants have been awarded as follows in 2024-

Respectlve responslbllllles of trustee and examiner
The Charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance
with the terms of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 and the
Charities Accounts Iscotlandl Regulations 2CKI6. The Charity trustees considered that the
audit requirement of Regulation 10111 lal to Icl of the Accountin8 Re8ulations doe5 not
apply. 11 is my responsibility to examine the accounts as required under section 4411) Ic} of
the Act and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basls of Independent examlnerfs statement
My Examination is carried oul in accordance with Regulation 11 of the Charities Accounts
Iscotlèndl Regulations 2006. An Examination includes a review of the accounting records
kept by the Charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It a150
includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in ihe accounts, and seeks
explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. the procedures undertakeh do
not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently I do not
express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.

In the course of my examination, no matter has come to my attentlon which gives me
reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements:
