The trustees have pleasure in presenting their report together with the financial statements for the year
ended 31 January 2026.
Structure Governance and Mana
ement
Constitution
The charity is Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisalion la SCIOI, and the purposes and
adminislralion arrangements are set out in the charity's conslilulion. The charity was registered with
OSCR on 13 January 2022.
Recruitment and appointment of trustees
The current trustees were appointed on incorporation of the SCIO. The board may (subject to ￿rtain
clauses within the constilutionl al any time appoint any person to be a charity trustee - by way of a
resolution passed by majority vole al a board meeting.
Ob ectives and activities
Charitable purposes
The SCIO seeks lo harness, and maximise the effectiveness of, the efforts of Linn Products Limited and
ils partners and staff lindividually and collectively) in raising funds, volunteering andlor otherwise
supporbng organisations, initiatives and events which further any one or more of the following aims..
the prevention or relief of poverty.,
the advancement of education.,
the advancement of health.,
the advancement of citizenship or community development.,
the advancement of the arts, heritsge, culture or Scien￿,.
the advancement of public participation in sport.,
the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities with the object
of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the fa¢ilities or activities are primarily
intended.,
the promotion of equality and diversity.,
the advancement of environmental protection or improvement., or
the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-heallh, disability, financial hardship or other
disadvantage through the provision of financial support.
Activities
The charity has been donating lo other charitable organisations on behalf of the charitable interest of the
employees of Linn Products Limited.
Achievements and performance
£44,021 (2025.. £83,692) of grants were paid to other charitable organisations during the year.
Flnanclal revlew
During the year, the charity received donations of £30,000 (2025.. £80,000) and received bank interest of
£211 (2025.. £412). The charity made donations lo other charitsble organisations of £44,021 12025..
£82,692) and incurred bank charges of £60 (2025.. £61). The charity did not incur any other expenditure
during the year (2025.. £7,007). The independent examination fee of £1,600 (exc VATI (2025.. £1,500) is
paid on behalf of the charity by Linn Products Limited. Al the end of the period the bank accounts held
£9,620 (2025.. £23,490J.

Reserves
The charity has unrestricted reserves of £9,620 which is considered sufficient as the charty has minimal
running costs.
Plans for future perlod
The trustees will look to increase the fundraising activities of the charity so it can support more
beneficiaries.

1. Basls of accountlng
These accounts have been prepared on the Receipts and Payments basis in accordance with the
Charities & Trustee Investment {Scotlandl Act 2005 and the Charities Accounts IScolland} Regulations
2006 las amended).
2. Nature and purpose of funds
Unrestricted funds are those that may be used at the discretion ofthe trustees in furtherance ofthe objects
of the charity.
3. Related party transactlons
Donations of £1,391 (2025.. £22,916) were made by the charity to another charity in which one of the
charity's trustees is also a trustee of.
Linn Products Limited, a company in which the trustees are key management personnel of, made
donations of £30,000 (2025,. £80,OOOJ in the year lo the charity. The independent examination fee of
£1,600 exc VAT (2025.. £7,500) is paid on behalf of the charity by Linn Products Limited.
4. Trustee remuneration and expenses
The trustees received no remuneration during the period (2025.. £nil). The trustees were reimbursed for
no expenses (2025.. £nil).
5. Governance costs
The independent examination fee of £1,600 exc VAT (2025.- £1,500) is paid on behalf of the charity by
Linn Products Limited.

A total of 45 (2025.- 41) individual donations were paid to 42 (2025.. 39) organisations in the year. These
donations were lo organisalions with a range of charitable objectives including the provision of education,
the provision of health and wellbeing servi￿$ and the provision of support services lo those suffering ill
health. Donations were also made to charities seeking lo end discrimination.

INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT TO THE TRUSTEES OF THE LINN FOUNDATION
FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 JANUARY 2026
I report on the accounts of the charity for the year ended 31 January 2026, which include the ststemenl
of receipts and payments, statement of balances and related notes.
Respectlve responslbllltles of the trustees and the Independent Examlner
The charity's Iruslees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the terms of
the Charities and Trustee Investment {Scollandl Act 2005 and the Charities Accounts (Scolland)
Regulations 2006 las amended). The charity Iruslees consider that the audit requirement of Regulation
10111 Idl of the 2006 Accounts Regulations does not apply. It is my responsibility lo examine the accounts
as required under section 44111 {c} of the Act and lo slate whether particular matters have come to my
attention.
Basis of Independent Examiner's ststement
My examination is carried out in accordan￿ with Regulation 11 of the 2006 Accounts Regulations. An
examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the
accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures
in the accounts and seeks explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures
undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently, I do not
express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.
Independent Examiner's statement
