We help people living with dementia, their families and carers to access services and support available in the local community. We collaborate with various organisations to achieve this objective. We deliver presentations on Dementia to Local Groups to raise awareness and have produced and distributed an information booklet'A Helping Hand' which highlights available services locally. Our website continues to develop– www.dementialargs.co.uk. Continue to promote and distribute Emergency Help bottles. Have worked with Police Scotland promoting the Herbert Protocol. Music and Celebrating Memories of football events held. Tai chi sessions continue to be run for local residents. Memory Walk – 4 annual events held locally. Virtual Memory Bus organised to come to Largs. We have successfully applied for grants to help us with our work.

Objectives: The organisation's purposes are: To advance the promotion of health within Largs and district with particular reference to those living with dementia and their carers To promote the human rights of those living with dementia and their carers in Largs and district so that they have equal ability to participate in the life and work of the town To address the needs of those living with dementia and their carers living within Largs and district with reference to their disability and related financial hardship
