Charitable purposes
The aim of the organisation is to offer grant funding to charitable and
group organisations from the local community on an annual basis.
Applications will be invited from the local community who will complete
an Application Form based on one or more ol the purposes set out in 7
12} of the Charities Act 2005, but primarily the awards will focus on
tsckling povety, advancement of all forms of education, the
advancement of health and wellbeing and environmental protection or
improvement.

in relation to these objects
To aid relief of poverty, enhance health and well-being at the same time
helping environmental issues by recycling and also donating goods,
clothing etc to other charitsble organisations.

Achievements and performance
Summary ofthe main a¢hievements
of the Charity during the financial
period
The Charity's main achievement during this financial year {1St February
2024 to 31￿ January 2025) has been to raise fvnds through the charity
shop to the benefit of the local community of Turriff and district.
This has enabled us to offer grant funding to local charities and
organisations for projects that meet the required criteria.
In this period we were able to award grants amounting to £52,850 to
| local causes under the aims of the charitable status granted.

Reserves have been carried over into the 202-26 ffnancial year lo
maintain ongoing expenditure associated with running Costs incurred
and also to ensure fvnds are available for any grant funding to be
awarded in the future.

| The Charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in a￿OrdanCe
with the terms of the charib.es and Trustee Investment (Scotland) 2005 Act and the
Charities Accounts {Scotlandl Regulations 2006 las amended). The charity trustees

I does not apply. It is my responsibiltty lo examine the ac£ounts as required under section
44111 Icl of the Act and to stale whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basls of Independenl My examination is carried out in accordance with Regulation 11 of the 20(￿ Accounts
examlner's stalement . Regulations. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the
charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those recolds. 11 also includes

explanations trom the trustees con*ming any such matters. The procedures undertaken
