STATUS AND GOVERNING DOCUMENT
The Orgatiisation was iews*red as a Scottish CThaTitable Jncorwirated (kg3tiis8tion (SCIO) under the name of Rotary
Club of AYT SCIO- number SC051422 on 24November2021. It is governedby its Constitution created on 18 September
2021. This was updated on 24 Novemiv 2024 wlmi its name was changed to Rotary ID Alloway Benevolent Trust -
rethining its stat￿$ as a SCIO.
The a¢tAvities of Rolary in Alloway B¢nevolent TTh￿t SCIO c¢&sed with effect from 30 June 2024 haviDg been
transfetred to the unincorp)Tated organisatiOD - Rotary Club of Alloway - Club No. 2(K)57 of Rotsry International -
District 1320.
PURPOSES
The objects of tbe Tn￿ aff to apply th¢ ¢apitsl and revenue of th¢ Benevolent Tn￿t and all other monies wbich
may from time to time be Teceived by the Trustees under the diredion of the Rotary Club of Alloway to and for the
prevention or relief of povthy. saving of lives. ￿lief of those tn need advancement of education, health citizenship or
ommunity development. Also, adv8ncun¢nt of the arts, heritage. culNre or science. environmental pro*ction or
improvement. human rights, conflict resolution or reconcili*ion and any other puryxis¢ as the Trustees may direct.
RECRUITMENT AND APPOINTMENT OF MEmBER￿RUSTEEs
Members of the organisation are subjeci io approval by the Council of the Rotary Club of Alloway who are also Tn￿le¢s.
The activilie5 of the organisalion jrc managed by a Board appointed by the members.
Trustees retire al annu81 AGM however are eligible forre-clection automatically unless they have chosen not to be
re4lecteC or another appointed in their place.
The Rotary Club of Alloway and is Club No. 21￿57 of Rotsry International - District 1320.

Donations from the Wishing Well and oth¢r5 from membas amount¢d to £483.68 in the year.

The Trustees are 8fdt¢ful to the members of thc Rotary Club of Ailoway and many others WIM) have supported these
activities during the year.
RISK MANAGEMENT
The TnLStees hav¢ asKssed the major risks to which the Trust is exposed and related to the operatioJLS and finances of
the TTU5L and they are s&tisfied that systems are ID plac¢ to mitigate exp￿Ure to the major risks.

The Tn￿teeS did not receive any remuneratio￿ or expenw duting the year.

Basts of Independent examiner's itatemeDt
My examin*ion is carried out in accordance with Regulation J l ofthe Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006.
An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the ch8Tity and a comparison of the accounts
presented with thosc records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and
seeks explanations from the t￿￿te¢S concerning any such rnatters. The pr￿edureS undertaken do not provide all the
evidence that would be required in an audiL and consequently I do Dot ¢xpress an audil opinion on the view given by
the accowils.
