Trustee rgcruitment and appointmont
The current trustees oversee the recruilmenl process for new trustees.
They seek reeommendalions and opinions from respected members of the
public. Pr05peclive trustees are invited lo allend Iruslees. meetings as
observers to gain an understanding of the chorily's aims and aclivilies. If
approved by all Iruslees, they are proposed as new trustees at
subsequent meetings, ensuring ¢onsideratson of suitability. competence,
specialist knowledge, and skills.

To prevent or relieve poverty in Scotland and the rest of the world and to
assist individuals overcome the obstscles posed by poverty and support
access lo cultural, educational and development opporlunilies that can
contribute to improved life chances for individuals and groups through the
provision of practical support (including, wilhoul limilalion, the direct
provision of food and meals and the provision of water purification facilities
and medical supportl, financial support and through the support of other
related practical projects.

Summary of the main achlevement$ of The Food Parcel Program was successfulty18unched to offer consistent

meals lo those in dire need, with the aim of ensuring no individual goes to
sleep hungry. This program is a testsmenl to the charity's resolve to
combat hunger and povety worldwide.
The ChaTity currently is successfully fulfilling 50-55 food parcels per month
and hopes lo grow this programme in the future.
