Activities

'It carries out activities or services itself'

'the advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science'

To advance arts and culture across Scotland by engaging communities and individuals, including those from diverse, marginalised, and seldom-heard backgrounds. This will be achieved by encouraging, supporting, and developing creativity through access to training and mentoring opportunities provided by experienced individuals and organisations within the artistic and cultural sectors—opportunities that would otherwise be unavailable to them. Additionally, the purpose includes arranging for the editing, writing, and publication (or other forms of reproduction and circulation, either free of charge or for payment) of appropriate books, anthologies, and pamphlets by writers who might otherwise find it very difficult or impossible to be published. The initiative will also create events and activities that provide opportunities for performers, musicians, and photographers to collaborate, showcase their work, and contribute to promoting health and wellbeing through creative expression.
