**Purposes:** 'the advancement of public participation in sport','the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended'

**What the charity does:** To facilitate and encourage public participation in the sport of tennis in Irvine and the surrounding area by providing free and public access to the junior tennis courts to members of the public.  The provision of recreational activities and/or facilities with a view to improving the conditions of life for those who the activities/facilities are primarily intended for.

**Objectives:** The Club will operate as a non-profit distributing charity whose principal objectives are:   3.1 To facilitate and encourage public participation in the sport of tennis in Irvine and the surrounding area by providing free and public access to the junior tennis courts to members of the public.   3.2 The provision of recreational activities and/or facilities with a view to improving the conditions of life for those who the activities/facilities are primarily intended for.   In furtherance of these objectives the club shall endeavour to provide a safe, friendly and welcoming environment for all to enjoy the sport.
