The people of Dundee have receNed support through Iraining opportuniti.es and from the provision of food, which
has ultimately improved their quality of life, thus meetiThJ th& charl￿S objectives.

ACD continues to hold its own in the currènt climat6,' wè arè at thè forefront ol employability and training in th6 city.
The charity received signtficant funding during the year, primarily from Dundee City coun￿1. to support the delivery
of food distribution across the aty In line wrth its charita￿e objectives.
ReseThes policy
The reserves policy is to have unrestricted fUr￿S not cornrniited or Invested in tangible fixed assets equating to
approximatèly 3 months unrèstricted lunds expendrture. the charrty this equates to £124,60212025- £130,849).
On 31 March 2026 the unrestricted reserve not invested in tsngible fixed assets for the eharity equated to £1,959
12025- £10,010). The Directors aCknO￿edge the reserves policy has not been mel in the year.
Total reserves as of 31 March 2026 lor the charty were £1,959 12025 - £41,323> of which induded unrestricted

Inveslment policy
The d1￿CtOrS have the wjwer to invest the monies of the charitable company, not immediately required lor the

Alexander Community Development Limiled is a private company limited by guarantee incorporated in
Scotland and does not have share capital. In the evenl of the charitable company being wound up, the liability
of each member is limited to £1. The members of the chantable company are the directors as included on
page 1. The registered office is 2 Fairfield Slreet. Dundee. D03 8HY.
1.1 Basis of preparation
The financial statements have been p￿pared in accordance v*th the charivs governing dO(￿Ment, the
Companies Act 2006 the Charities and Trustee Investmenl (Scollandl Act 2005. the Charities Accounts
Iscotlandl Regulations 2(N)6. FRS 102 'The Financial Reports'ng Stsndard applicable in the UK and Republic
of Ireland. and the Charities SORP 'Accounting and Reports'ng by Charities.. Statement of Recommended
Pr8clice applicable io ch8ribes preparing their accounts in 8¢cx)rd8nce with the Fin8nci81 Reporting St8ndard
applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021". The chanty is a Public Benefit Entity as defined by
FRS 102.

amounts in these financial statements are munded to Ihe nearest £.
The financial statements have been prepared under th8 historical cost C￿nvention. The principal accounting
policies adopied are sel ou( below.

Unrestricted funds are available for use at the discretion of the trustees in furtherance of their charitabla
objectives.
Reslrictod funds are subject to Spectfic conditions by donors or grantors as to how they may ba usad. The
purposes and uses of the restricted funds are sel out in the notes to the financial statements.
1.4 Income
Income is recognised when the charity is legally entitted to il after any perfO￿anCe conditions have been rnet.
the arnounts can be measured reliably. and il is probable that ino)me will be received.
Cash donations are recognised on receipl. Other donations are recognised once the charity has been notffied
of the donation. unless performance condilions require deferral ol the amount. Income tax recoverable in
