No trustees resigned in the period. ## **Governing document** Vibrant Scottish Mosques (VSM) is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation and the purposes and administration arrangements are set out in our constitution. ## **Charitable purposes** Our purposes, as recorded in our constitution, are: - the advancement of religion - the promotion of equality and diversity - the advancement of education - the advancement of citizenship or community development - the promotion of religious or racial harmony - the advancement of health - the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities - the relief of those in need ## **Activities and achievements** In 2024 we were consulted on and took part in the UK launch of 'Our British Mosque' by Open My Mosque in the Houses of Parliament which had a UK wide perspective with similar findings to our report. It allowed for us to grow our network of support and connect with other stakeholders. We began discussion and research for our Muslim Female Scholarship conference. Our report found that women found it difficult to access female faith leadership for guidance, advice and counselling and the Conference is going to platform female scholarship and faith based initiatives and ideas from around the UK. ## **Trustee remuneration and expenses** The trustees did not receive any remuneration during the year, and no expenses were reimbursed. ## **Reserves** Vibrant Scottish Mosques held unrestricted funds of £553 at the year end.
