## **APPENDIX 1**

## **Achievements and performance**

## **Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the financial period**

The charity carried out a number of activities in the year to support those suffering from dementia and their families.

|**Brief statement of the charity’s policy**
**on reserves**
**Details of any deficit**
**Donated facilities and services (if any)**|The trustees view that it is prudent to hold reserves for 3 months’ worth of
continued operations.
As at the year end, the charity’s unrestricted reserves were £48,074. The
charity’s ongoing expenditure on charitable activities, support and
governance averaged £9,590 per month, meaning that sufficient reserves
are held by the charity in line with its policy on reserves.|
