During the year the Group has delivered the Scout Programme for the benefit of the young people of Moodiesburn. We have seen an increase in numbers of young people looking to join. We now have over 150 young people across our sections and 13 Young Leaders. Our young people have attended camps throughout the year and and our Scouts enjoyed a trip to Gilwell which included a visit to Harry Potter World. We attended the Auchengeich Memorial Service, the Chryston Christmas Parade, the Summer Gala, held a Family Gameshow night, a Christmas Coffee morning and participated in Founders Day celebrations. Our young people have attended weekly meetings where they participate in in activities related to obtaining their badges.
Objectives: Scouting exists to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society
