Objectives: The Trust has been established and continues to be for the benefit of the public for charitable purposes, only within the meaning assigned thereto by (a) the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 and (b) the Taxes Acts, as may be amended or re-enacted, in order to promote and advance local history and heritage by providing assistance whether by direct or other grant subsidy or otherwise to the Perth & Kinross Archive and Local & Family History Section of the AK Bell library, 2-8 York Place, Perth, PH2 SEP, for the acquisition of books, artefacts, equipment, other appropriate materials and/or the delivery of projects for the benefit of the public'.
